Not sure about you but …  I’m always disappointed, when I attempt to draw a horse.

If that wasn’t great enough and you’re not a horse artist by now … did you know that you can turn a subject upside down and trick your brain into drawing it without the slightest hesitation?

You should try it … it’s pretty amazing!

Look out, Freud. There’s a new 1600 pound therapist in town.

That’s right, we’re talking about horses.

horseback riding Horses assisting in psychotherapy is an approach that has been used for centuries and is now becoming mainstream.

While we don’t do this type of thing at the ranch, it makes perfect sense, at least from where we’re standing.

Although the emotional therapeutic benefits are important, it is perhaps the physical benefits of horseback riding that most people relate to.

In addition to improving strength, coordination, and balance, horseback riding can also be good for the soul, as well as, chronic back pain and arthritis sufferers. The constant rolling motion keeps the spine supple and well-lubricated. And the physical activity and emotional connection to horses often help alleviate the pain of arthritis.
